Do you want higher Recruitment, Retention and Revenue ?

Date Published: 27/10/2011

MYZONE® is a new system designed to enhance member engagement through user generated content (UGC).  It accurately tracks, measures and monetises members’ workouts, both inside and outside a club. It monitors heart rate, calories, time and MYZONE® Effort Points (MEPs) using a proprietary MYZONE® Physical Activity Belt and cloud-based technology.

MEPs are earned solely on each individual’s level of fitness, removing imbalances based on gender, age, weight and heart rate. They are a currency for building incentives to drive member loyalty and retention. The MYZONE® system also creates new revenue streams via belt sales, through personal training and membership upgrades.

For more information call CFM on (03) 8643 7474 or check out the web at www.cfm.net or www.myzone.org

Jungle Body Makes It Mark

Date Published: 27/10/2011

The Jungle Body is a new unprecedented fitness company that offers wild & exciting group fitness classes. The Jungle Body was founded by West Australian Tara Franzinelli who had found that group fitness in Australia had become dull, lifeless and ineffective. She also was frustrated with classes that people couldn’t keep up with or was incredibly difficult to teach & remember the steps. After spending 12 months in LA and New York consulting in the Fitness Industry Tara became aware of a new style of hybrid fitness classes. She saw classes like Yoxing, a mix of Yoga and Boxing, Hip Hop Yoga and Zumba which she instantly fell in love with. They were all so different to the traditional Step or Hi-Lo class which have been around for decades.
